Listen to The Pieshop Boys

Here are a few Pieshop Boys tunes to be getting along with. None of these are the final versions, but you'll get the general idea.

Songs

It's Not Unusual   Any Deam Will Do
The Tom Jones classic, with big guitars added to give it some bollocks, plus the widdly bit that Jimmy Page did.   Something from Joseph's Technicolour Nightmare Coat, with a lovely little guitar solo thrown in.

Cars You Were Always on my Mind
An early bit of Gary Numan's post Tubeway Army output, in Drop-D, with 'singing' on it.   A sort of mash up between the Petshop Boys and Elvis Presley, with a but more guitar.

The Day Before You Came
Miserable Abba song about some bloke who hadn't turned up yet, with a guide vocal by Moose.

Material Girl
A throwback to the Pants days, with added Jackson 5.

Nobody Does it Better
The theme from 'The Spy Who Loved Me' gets murdered by enemy agents, with a Dave Ruffy drum loop.

Video Killed the Radio Star
A bit of Buggles, with a little bit of The Damned thrown in.

The Winner Takes it All
More Abba, and this one is much the same arrangement as the Pants version, but has been re-recorded.
